Today, economies around the world are using the hosting of sports events to package their cities and generate their own brand. This drives city marketing and showcases every aspect of a city on the international stage before a global audience. The associated life, tourism and industrial activities bring substantial economic benefits to a city and allow the city brand to shine.

2019 APEC Sports Cities Forum International Events x Sports Innovations was held in The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei on November 5th. The forum was organized into 2 keynote speeches, 2 panel sessions, and 2 demo sessions, focusing on the connection between Sports Policies X City Development, International Organization X Host Cities, Sports Cities X Startup Ecosystems, and International Events X Technology Impact for molding a sports city.
